I am now a full time Abstract Painter and have a Fine Arts degree. I have attended the Center for Creative Studies, Bloomfield Birmingham Art Center, Madonna College, Schoolcraft College and WCCC.I have a FineArts Degree from WCCCD.
Abstract painting makes us use our imagination, which is part of the reason why I enjoy it. My paintings are a mixture and blend of many colors and textures. There are layers of paint to give it a feeling of depth and motion.
I was able to make contacts with local gallery owners in the Detroit area, where a number of my paintings have sold. But I am always in pursuit of other places to get my paintings out where more people can enjoy them.
My paintings have been seen in numerous art fairs throughout the Midwest including the Chicago Michigan Mile, Grand Rapids Art Prize and the Stars and Stripes Art Fair in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. They have also been featured in galleries which include the Detroit Artist Market, Lawrence Street Gallery, Northville Art House, the Starring Gallery and Studio 825 Gallery in Peoria, Illinois and more.
Currently I am looking into further broadening my art's exposure in the United States and worldwide.I will be in the December issue of "Modern Painters."These paintings are samples of my work.Hope you enjoy them.
***Each piece is painted and textured on the sides and are gallery wrapped, and not black on the sides as shown in some of the categories...You have to go to "acrylic prints" to see the painted textured sides.
